I have found a couple of very good affordable high street foundations which are dupes for some of the high end foundations I have in my kit.
Now dont get me wrong I love a good “high end” foundation and there are many good ones to choose from. For a night out or special occasion I would use a more expensive foundation as I do find they last that little bit longer.
However for everyday use (for me school runs and work) I dont want to be slapping £40 worth of product on my face daily, its just a waste of money.
Affordable High Street Foundation
Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid
So I like to shop around for good drugstore alternatives to some of the more “high end” makeup that I keep in my kit. I dont always like to use expensive makeup on myself daily. This foundation (Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid) is perfect for my skin type. It doesn’t make my skin look cakey and lasts all day.
Its priced at £8.99 which is such an affordable price Its a really good quality product and a good competitor for some of my high end foundations.
I would say this is a close dupe for the NARS sheer glow foundation (priced at £33.50)!
I had this foundation on yesterday from 7am-8pm, didn’t even use a setting spray and it still looked great by the evening! Very impressed. Definitley worth a try!
Another favourite good affordable drugstore foundation is the Maybelline Fit Me matte and poreless foundation.
This foundation is a close dupe for the MAC Studio Fix foundation.
Its quite matte but leaves a lovely finish and is very long lasting. This is my favourite out of the two and I tend to reach for this daily. At £5.99 this is so affordable for the quality of the product you get.
