Here are a few of my all time best High Street Makeup dupes which are just as good as the more expensive brands
As a makeup artist I feel like i am constantly buying makeup, I can never have enough!. I love discovering new products/brands and especially love discovering dupes to some of the more high end (expensive) makeup.
These are all products that I have personally used myself so I know that they work and I know they are good.
High end brand:
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer This is an amazing product but at £24 not so amazing for the purse!
Affordable high street dupe:
Maybelline fit me concealer This is such a close dupe for the NARS concealer and at £5.99 ALOT cheaper! I use this on myself daily.
High end brand:
Laura Mercier translucent setting powder Laura Mercier is a great brand and this powder is a cult classic. Used by alot of makeup artists it is very popular and that is because the product is just great. It was hard to find a dupe for this one but that didn’t stop me!
Affordable high street dupe:
No.7 perfect light loose powder This is a great product and I cant believe it took me so long to discover it! It is so finely milled and goes onto the skin like silk smoothing everything out. Priced at £11 this is very affordable for such an amazing product.
High end brand:
Mac stripdown lip liner – This is my go to lip liner especially for bridal looks, the formula is so soft and the colour is lovely and natural.
Affordable high street dupe:
Barry M lipliner in toast – I actually discovered this lip pencil before i discovered the Mac one! I had been using it for ages (and still do) its such a close dupe for the stripdown liner, the colour, the formula all the same!
High end brand:
Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow palette – this is such an iconic palette, I know a lot of makeup artists that use this. Anastasia Beverly Hills is known for creating that perfect eyebrow but at a staggering £90!!! I am very happy that I have found a dupe for this.
Affordable high street dupe:
Zoeva eyebrow palette – Zoeva is such a great brand and i feel like not alot of people know about it. I just happened to come across the brand while scrolling through Beauty Bay making my monthly makeup order! I then discovered this eyebrow palette and though I would give it a go. At £20 its obviously ALOT more affordable and I am happy to say its just as good! I take this everywhere with me when im freelancing. I know it doesn’t have as many colours as the high end brand but I have never had a problem matching a colour to a client, I also mix the colours too. You do also get 2 highlighters with this palette and I have to say I use this on ALL of my clients to highlight the brow bone in inner corner as it just looks amazing (middle highlighter left hand row)
